Summer Reading—Check It Out

The library now has a new Browsing Books area that is full of new and interesting books ready to be checked out. The browsing books located on the main floor on carts between the reference and computing area.

The browsing collection contains books for easy reading. Here is a sampling of some of the titles:

Jeffrey Archer. False Impression

John Martin Taylor. Hoppin’ John’s lowcountry cooking: recipes and ruminations from Charleston & the Carolina coastal plain

Malcolm Gladwell. Blink: the power of thinking without thinking

Philip Roth. Everyman

Stephen King. Cell: a novel

John Feinstein. Last dance: behind the scenes at the Final Four

Jason Annan & Pamela Gabriel. The great Cooper River Bridge

Thomas Friedman. The world is flat: a brief history of the twenty-first century

Before you leave for vacation or for the beach, stop by the browsing area and check out the selections.

Addlestone Library is accessible only to College of Charleston students, alumni, faculty, and staff, Friends of the Library, PASCAL visiting patrons, or those with appointments for services offered in the library. Cougar Cards, Alumni cards, FOL cards, PASCAL institution IDs, or appointment emails are required for entry. Virtual services are available at
