The College of Charleston Library has added the following electronic subscriptions to our collection.

The Chronicle of Higher Education

A source of news, information, and jobs for college and university faculty members and administrators.  Online, The Chronicle is published every weekday and is the top destination for news, advice, and jobs for people in academe. The Chronicle’s Web site features the complete contents of the latest issue; daily news and advice columns; thousands of current job listings; an archive of previously published content; vibrant discussion forums; and career-building tools such as online CV management, salary databases, and more

Journal of The First-Year Experience & Students in Transition

A semiannual refereed journal providing current research on the first college year and other significant student transitions. The Journal’s audiences are academic and professional staff involved in first year programs as well as senior managers with responsibility for first year policies and strategies.

Loeb Classical Library Online

This digital platform is an interconnected, fully searchable, perpetually growing, virtual library of all that is important in Greek and Latin literature. Epic                 and lyric poetry; tragedy and comedy; history, travel, philosophy, and oratory; the great medical writers and mathematicians; those Church Fathers who made                 particular use of pagan culture—in short, our entire Greek and Latin Classical heritage is represented here with up-to-date texts and accurate English translations. More      than 520 volumes of Latin, Greek, and English texts are available in a modern and elegant interface, allowing readers to browse, search, bookmark, annotate, and share content with ease

Addlestone Library is open to the College of Charleston community and affiliates via card access. Visitors may access Addlestone Library Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, and must present a government issued ID and sign in upon entry.
