Please join the Friends of the Library for our second panel discussion, Sustainable Buildings in the Lowcountry,” in our ongoing  year-long series, “Going Green: Fad or Forever?” We will address the following sustainability issues and more.  Please encourage your students to attend!

  • What is LEED?
  • What does building “green” really mean?
  • Associated cost of building with sustainable materials?
  • Charleston—where are we with green building initiatives?
  • Individual responsibility for building with and using sustainable materials —what is available to you?

Addlestone Library is open to the College of Charleston community and affiliates via card access. Visitors may access Addlestone Library Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, and must present a government issued ID and sign in upon entry.
