Behind the Chat Box: McLean Dobbins - College of Charleston Libraries

Have you ever wondered who is behind the library’s chat box? This is McLean Dobbins, Evening/Weekend Supervisor at the Marlene and Nathan Addlestone Library. Dobbins was hired by the College about a year and a half ago, but before coming to Charleston, he worked at three other libraries in South Carolina: one academic and two public libraries.

Dobbins has been supporting the campus during e-learning by assisting students and faculty with their research questions using our online chat and email service. He misses the daily interaction with students, faculty, and staff!
