Title: Who’s In My Family?: All About Our Families (Let’s Talk About You and Me) by Robie H. Harris

(Hey, CofC Community! Interlibrary loan this here: )

Seems that not all countries in the 21st century got the memo. This title is a children’s book that contains gay couples. In 2014, it was withdrawn from libraries in Singapore, where gay sex is illegal.

Who’s in My Family? was in danger of being pulled from all school and public libraries to be destroyed. This resulted in a very public outcry against government censorship. The public won (kind of), and the title was re-located to the adult section for parents to select for their children.
