Please join the Friends of the Library for the first event in our four-part spring speakers series, What’s So Funny?

Funny Talk – Wednesday, January 27th @ 6pm
Admissions Information Center
Robert Scott Small Building
175 Calhoun Street

What makes a work funny? Why do younger generations respond to political humor more so than traditional news? Why should we take humor seriously?  Join CofC Professor Chris Lamb, Mad-TV writer and Emmy-award winner Colin Quashie, and humor author Jane O’Boyle as they address these questions and many more in Funny Talk. The panel will be moderated by Greg Tavares from The Have Nots! improv comedy troupe.  Free and open to the public. For more information, call 953.5530.
