New Wireless Network at Addlestone.

This entry was posted on Friday, March 26th, 2010

Over Spring Break the library’s wireless network was upgraded and a new feature installed.  In addition to the CampusWide wireless network (CWWPA) being enhanced, the public wireless network (ADLPub) was replaced with the CofCguest network.  A new feature of this network is that it broadcasts like other wireless networks we’re used to and one simply has to click “connect” to join.  The CofCguest network doesn’t give users access to our subscription databases; however, if one of our students connects to this network by mistake, he or she can still access the databases as if they were connecting from off-campus.  Please let me know if you have any questions or issues using the wireless networks in Addlestone.
