Kristen DeVoe is the newest new face at the library. She works primarily in technical services as the Systems and Electronic Resources Librarian overseeing the library’s access to electronic resources. But she also spends time serving patrons at the reference desk.
Kristen was born in Cincinnati but was raised and honed to perfection in New Orleans and east Tennessee. She received her undergraduate in history at the College of Charleston with a specialization in Asian studies. She received her graduate degree in Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina last year and now calls Charleston her home. When she is not holding the Addlestone Library together electronically, Kristen greatly enjoys sewing and making things. She is especially fond of wielding a glue stick to great effect in her many creations.
