Literature Resource Center (Full Text) Collegiate Discus

MLA Bibliography

Periodicals Archives Online (formerly Periodicals Contents Index - Full Text) (Full Text)
Index to articles from 1802 to 1995 in the humanities and social sciences. Includes full-text to approximately 140 journals.

Project Muse (Full Text)
Electronic access to the full text of scholarly journals in the arts and humanities.

JSTOR (Full Text)
Collection of full-text scholarly journals, including the fields of literature and drama. Coverage starts with the first issue of each journal through the early 1990's.

AccuNet/AP Multimedia Archive
The most extensive online collection of copyright-released multimedia material available. It contains The Associated Press' current year's photo library and a wide selection of images from their vast negative and print library, dating from the 1840s. The Multimedia Archive contains over 750,000 photos.

Arts and Humanities Citation Index
Part of ISI's Web of Science. Indexes journals in the arts and humanities since 1990. Updated weekly.

Dissertations & Theses: Full Text
The ProQuest Dissertations & Theses database includes over 2 million master's theses and dissertations, with over 60,000 titles added every year. It's a great resource for researchers in a wide variety of fields.

The EServer Drama Collection
This site contains a collection of original plays and screenplays, criticism and links to other sites concerned with theatre. It publishes both classic and contemporary works.

Global Performing Arts Database
Records include authoritative, detailed, multilingual descriptions of digital images, texts, video clips, sound recordings, and complex media objects related to the performing arts around the world, plus information about related pieces, productions, performers, and creators. Approximately 4,500 objects are currently available.

Inter-Play
A valuable source for finding plays that are not included in standard print indexes. Covers the late 1800’s to current.

The New Deal Stage
Part of the Library of Congress's National Digital Library program, this site offers an opportunity to view primary source documents of theatrical productions sponsored under the Works Progress Administration (WPA), Federal Theatre Project (FTP) from 1935 to 1939. Featured here are scripts, stage and costume designs, photographs, posters, and FTP administrative records.
